Description
Includes a message "To the People of Maryland" by H.C. Byrd where he explains that "Each year, the Woman's Auxiliary Board holds a Benefit, the proceeds
of which are used to provide help for patients who otherwise could not
enter the Hospital because of inability to meet financial requirements." Also included is a page with a write up and pictures of "Volunteer Service in the University Hospital." A list of officers and committee members, as well as advertisement and a list of patrons are also present. The 1953 Benefit was held at The Emerson Hotel and featured music by Jack Lederer and His Orchestra.
