In conjunction with the school's 175th Anniversary celebration, the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy hosted its first Historical Clinicalpatholgical Conference, held on September 17, 2016. The conference considered the case of Edgar Allan Poe's illness and death, from a series of pharmacological perspectives.
