News release describing a panel discussion during the RISING Baltimore: Managing Tensions in Communities symposium hosted by the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Ashley Valis, MSW served as moderator. The 4 panel participants were Erika Alston-Buck, chief executive officer for Penn North Recovery and founding director of The Kids Safe Zone, Major Sheree Briscoe, commander of the Western District of the Baltimore Police Department, Michael Siepp, Executive director of the Southwest Partnership, and DeJuan Patterson, a consultant who has worked with the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy's PATIENTS Program.
