Description: Executive Summary: The President’s Fellows, an interprofessional group of University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) students, were tasked with examining the role of cultural competence in education and professional practice within the University. We examined UMB’s environment, curriculum, and policies, and how they work together, with the goal of making recommendations to ensure that cultural competence is a lived value across the campus.
