Notes on the Founding of the Woman's Auxiliary Board of the University Hospital and a Resume of Its Works 1887-1934
Description
After tracing back the roots of caring for the needy to Holy Scripture and describing the evolution of hospital volunteerism followed by the beginnings of what later became the Auxiliary, Bowe provides a yearly "record of the principal achievements of the organization." For the earlier years, in Bowe's words "Most of the actual facts have been obtained from the minutes of the Medical Alumni Association, for our own record books prior to 1904 are missing." After 1904 the yearly reports included are summaries of the contents of minutes of the Auxiliary.Keyword
